A lot has happened recently we have added a number of features to our website. The first is our accounts login in feature which enables our customers to create accounts to help them breeze through checkout. We are working on enabling the system to keep a history of customer orders as well as track the status of an order, this is still in the early stages and should be available in due course.

We have also added a new live chat feature this basically lets us chat to customers in real time offering advice on products, answering any queries or questions without always having to wait for an e-mail repsonse, our staff are still getting to grips with this new system so please bear with them.Even when we are not online you can still send an e-mail to us through live chat.

We also have a new checkout progress bar which enables customers to keep track of exactly where they are in the checkout process.

For those of you who have taken sometime out to read about us you will know by now that my children are mixed race. And all parents of blended cuties (as I like to call them) will know what a nightmare maintaining mixed race hair can be.

Although I have discovered a number of hair products specifically created for mixed race hair which are a God send and I use these on my little cherubs unruly tresses with maximum and satisfying results, however as life gets busier with time I have also now resorted to cornrowing my 4 and a 1/2 year old sons hair.

This was a decision reached mutually and amicably between my son and I as he did not want his hair cut nor deal with me chasing him round the house with a Tangle Teezer at every given opportunity.

However his cornrowed hair has been received in a lot of different ways from friends and family even some strangers commenting on how lovely the styles are, and how much it suits him.To some people mistaking him for a girl despite being dressed as boy, and old men asking him disapprovingly "...what has mummy done to your hair...?"

These reactions have caused me to step back and re-evaluate whether I should be cornrowing his hair after all. I know he is just four but I have found myself wondering whether I am emasculating and turning him in to a "sissy" by cornrowing his hair and almost forcing him to be feminine. However these have just been doubts and questions I have debated with myself momentarily and my views have not changed, as far as I am concerned and this my own opinion mind you which I believe is shared by many ... there is nothing wrong with boys and men having their hair cornrowed. Although some cultures consider it unacceptable for men to sport cornrows I feel that times are changing and have changed and boys and men wearing cornrows is part of that change.

I don't think that the fact that a man decides to wear cornrows has any reflection on his character or who he is as a person its a part of what makes himstand out but is not a defining factor of who he is. As far as I am concerned cornrowed hair is a sign of ones individuality just like the way one chooses to dress.

Natural hair is all the rage, men and nowadays the sky is the limit when it comes to cornrow styles for men ,so why not have some fun.
